Six more issuers have objected to OKXICE trading tokenized versions of their stock, the venue’s public notice dated 23 Oct shows: Arm Holdings, Wells Fargo, Moderna, Cisco, Intuit and Marvell Technology. That takes the list to 22. OKXICE, owned equally by Intercontinental Exchange and OKX-affiliated OKC USA Holding, was last covered by CryptoWatchDesk on 21 Oct, when 16 issuers had objected.

The objections now reach ICE’s own exchange. Six of the 22 objectors, Wells Fargo among them, are listed on the New York Stock Exchange, which ICE owns, and 16 on Nasdaq, Reuters reported on Friday. It said OKX and ICE had planned to tokenize 63 stocks; the notice does not say how many objectors were on that list.

The notice changes one other line. Where the 19 Oct version said each tokenized stock would be paired with a payment stablecoin, “either USDC, USDG, or USDT”, the 23 Oct version reads “e.g., USDC, USDG”. Tether’s USDT is no longer named, and the notice gives no reason.

Under the SEC exemption the venue relies on, it must notify issuers before listing tokens of their shares and cannot proceed if they object. The notice gives no reasons and no launch date; Wells Fargo declined to comment and Arm did not immediately respond, Reuters reported. For background, see what tokenized stocks are.
