Twelve more issuers object to OKXICE trading tokenized versions of their stock, the venue’s public notice dated 30 Oct shows, among them Nvidia, Micron, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, Nike, Costco and Reddit. That takes the list to 50. OKXICE, which CryptoWatchDesk last covered on 28 Oct when 33 issuers had objected, had added Eli Lilly, Carnival, Arcos Dorados, Walmart and Cigna in a 28 Oct notice.

The objections have moved out of tech. Seven of the 17 new names are retailers, consumer brands, a cruise line or healthcare companies, and one is IREN, a Nasdaq-listed bitcoin miner and AI cloud operator. Even a crypto-native issuer has opted out of this venue.

Corning, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Bloom Energy and USA Rare Earth complete the 30 Oct additions. The pace has picked up: 17 objections in the two notices after 27 Oct, against 33 between 4 Oct and 27 Oct. The Defiant also reported the count of 50 on Sunday.

The venue, owned equally by Intercontinental Exchange and OKX-affiliated OKC USA, plans to trade tokenized stocks against stablecoins in Uniswap v4 pools on OKX’s XLayer blockchain. The 30 Oct notice still names USDC and USDG as example pairing stablecoins, and says the tokens may be issued by the company itself or by an unaffiliated third party.

The notice gives no reasons for the objections and no launch date.
